About Us |
| Kuantan Flour Mills Berhad | KFM was incorporated in Malaysia on 12 May 1984 as Kuantan Flour Mills Sdn Bhd and commenced operations in 1985 to engage in the business of operating a wheat flour mill and the selling and distribution of wheat flour throughout the country. In 1990, KFM was converted into a public limited company and assumed the present name and was subsequently listed on the Second Board of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange on November 1991.
The focus of KFM is to produce consistent good quality flour with the objective of achieving 100% customers’ satisfaction and loyalty. This dedication has earned KFM the reputation as one of the leading flour producers in the country. Our clientele base is wide and spread among bakeries, biscuit manufacturers and noodle makers, which are the three main flour consuming sectors. We also export our flour to the neighboring countries in Asean region.
Besides producing wheat flour, KFM is also involved in the production and distribution of flour pre mixes. The set-up of our pre mix plant provides the flexibility that enables us to custom-made the flour mixes to the requirements of customers. We are also currently producing flour mixes under license of several international companies for their distribution and consumption around the region.
To further enhance our services to customers, our subsidiary companies KFM Marketing Sdn Bhd and KFM Transport Sdn Bhd were set up. KFM Marketing Sdn Bhd involves in the distribution and trading of our flour mixes and food ingredients. While KFM Transport Sdn Bhd is the provider of transport services to our flour milling operation with the objective of providing good, punctual and reliable deliveries to customers.
